Awesome!! Glad to hear your fabulous plans! Definitely know that you are related to your brother - he too is a spreadsheet master of his applications to professor jobs. You and he should compare worksheets!! Of course I'm pretty much a spreadsheet fan but in a different context (hello accounting!!) Anyway I'm excited for you! Keep us posted!

this is a great post and one that i need to consider as well! we have our ical all neat and orderly with specific events, we have a calendar on the fridge with what typical should look like. let me tell you that typical never really happens for us. it's amazing emily is doing as well as she is since really we don't have a very good routine right now because it always seems to be shifting. we are getting better and i know once next fall hits with dave (hopefully, keep your fingers crossed) employed and me able to focus on stampin' up! job and staying with emily without the additional accounting gigs maybe then we will be routine! - but knowing us we will probably be spur of the moment types and allow for changes on a regular occurrence. anyway good luck with getting the routine. i think your considerations are very valid and are exactly what we have in our house even if we aren't what others would call routine!

that is interesting! and makes sense that pre-adolescents are easier to adapt than teenagers. scary that you only have 3 years until the teens! where did the time go on that one! i'm sure they would be fine though and in the end really benefit from the experience if you don't get it done before the teenage years. hope you can do it sometime though! we'd come visit for sure!!

Hello, it might be too late for the lice, but there is a comb called "AYA", it is amazing! it is easy to use and it catches eggs, give it a try next time. We catch it almost every year... between day care and primary school there is no way out

Hey Laurie,
I'm one of the other idealist bloggers...I was just reading through some of the recent postings (procrastinating, to tell the truth - I'm working on a paper) and I wanted to wish you luck for the semester!
